Did you shop at a Black owned Business on Black Friday?

I am not a fan of Black Friday because every year there seem to be more and more stories of people who get hurt or even killed who are out just trying to catch a deal, however I loved this article in the Huffington post titled, "35 Black-Owned Etsy Stores For Black Friday". As a community I feel we do not patronize black owned businesses enough for one reason or another and I think it is time we start....again.

A few of the businesses I was already familiar with such as BoutiqueDeBandeaux who makes exquisite couture-inspired accessories tailored toward the kinky curly community. Ladies, if you have ever had an issue finding accessories for your natural tresses that did not seem to just disappear into you hair...fear no more. These lovely hair adornments are sure to stand out and make you seen in a crowd!
Another business in which I was not familiar with, My Junky Trunk was inspired by the creators rough childhood around her body image, specifically her "Junky Trunk". The storefront is comprised of many beautiful prints and some are of naturally curly hair, puffs and afros.
